ANIMATION NATION
Animation Nation provide workshops across the UK for primary and secondary schools, colleges, youth groups, arts groups, school holiday activities, teacher training inset days, team building events and much more!
Animation is a fantastic way to engage, empower, educate and inspire people of all ages and abilities and allow them to creatively express their ideas and thoughts while learning many new skills.
All the workshops are led by animator Barry Skillin with 7 years experience of delivering animation workshops in education.
RED KITE ANIMATION WORKSHOPS
Red Kite Animation are an Edinburgh studio who mostly make children's cartoons. We also teach animated film making to kids and adults throughout Scotland (and occasionally England!)
Workshops vary greatly in length, from short 2 hour introductions, to long 1 or 2 week projects. Animation can of course take a long time, but we try to teach faster techniques so that the participants can develop in other areas also.
Making a short animated film can involve many creative processes
NO.W.HERE
no.w.here uses film and video to produce innovative projects, events, workshops, and education programmes. They work with schools and colleges interested in exploring their particular needs within the curriculum. They are creating a constantly evolving and exciting portfolio of unique courses and can make full creative use of the facilities at your school while providing cameras, film, digital video, microphones to you.

The workshops are suitable for individuals, wishing to explore the world of traditional and contemporary animation with everything from drawings (2D), claymation or computer graphics.
