Einstein's Entertainers offer a variety of science based school workshops activities to suit your occasion and have worked with schools charities and uniformed groups across the UK. They can tailor workshops for schools to suit specific requirements and also perform a number of assemblies and shows including Atomic Assembly, Frozen Explosions or just an amazing show packed with favourite experiments. Assemblies are free to new schools that want to start an after school science club, but can also be arranged as one off performances.
Their engaging and fun workshops stimulate interest in science and support the national curriculum and include: Slimy Science, Exciting Electricity, Science vs. Magic, Push & Pull Olympics, Incredible Insects, Spaceman, CSI, The Sounds of Science, The Science of Light. National Science and Engineering Week this year is 11th – 20th March 2011, but they are available to come in any time to help your science week run smoothly. Their material is designed to back up and build on the National Curriculum and has been put together in partnership with schools and teachers, inspiring young minds with a passion for science. Whether blasting off rockets, watching sparks fly or getting to grips with the slimy gross world of polymers, they strive for excellence and sciencetastic hilarity every time.
Einstein’s Entertainers after school clubs operate in many schools across the London, Surrey, Kent and the South East demonstrating scientific principles through fun, hands-on experimentation. They are also proud to be affiliated with The British Science Association and CLEAPSS.
Most of the lessons include something for the young scientists to take home and enjoy. The topics covered offer a great variety and all follow the National Curriculum. At completion of the course, all children get a certificate for each different module, which they can treasure for years to come, and display with pride. The After School programme can be adapted to fit into your school calendar with a normal programme consisting of 8 club sessions once a week, each an hour long. Each lesson builds on what has been learned in the previous class so your young scientist can build their scientific knowledge. The science programmes run in the school classrooms and Einstein’s Entertainers are very sensitive to the fact that classrooms must be left if the condition that they are found. As such they clean up after every class to ensure that they are left spotless.
Einstein’s Entertainers are extremely thrilled to be nominated for the 2011 "What's on 4 Junior Awards in association with Konfidence". The award rewards and recognises the people and companies providing the best activities for children across the UK. They are also affiliated with The British Science Association - a registered charity that exists to advance the public understanding, accessibility and accountability of the sciences and engineering in the UK.
