"We very much enjoyed the day. We found it insightful, thorough and carefully planned to suit the needs of all the pupils that were there. The activities were useful and enjoyable for all pupils, offering a good variety of techniques and ideas on how to develop their own choreography. The work was pitched at the right level and everything was explained clearly. All round an excellent day. Many thanks and we do hope we can use your services again in the future." - Paula Wall, Performing Arts, Handsworth Girls School, Birmingham.
"The day was excellent and the children and staff all enjoyed the performances and workshops. It was great for all the teachers to see maths taught in such a creative way, and to observe how the children were so focussed and involved, particularly those who often exhibit challenging behaviours. We would love to have Dance Equation back next year and would not hesitate to recommend them to other local schools." - Annette Burns, Deputy head teacher, Amington Heath Community School, Birmingham.
"Thank you so much for your hard work, including the teachers INSET, which will have a lasting effect on how maths is taught in school." - Head teacher, Cravenwood School, Manchester.

What is it?
The Dance about MATHS learning program is a mixture of dance performances, workshops and staff CPD. This is a unique cross curricular opportunity for teachers and children to watch, learn and develop ways to dance about maths for themselves. It is ideal for targeting kinesthetic learners, promoting creativity and for developing key skills. The program is designed to inspire children and teachers to use movement and voice as a way to experience maths and enhance the creative curriculum; we do not 'teach' maths.
Who is it for?
Our DANCE about MATHS program is for Early Years, KS1, KS2, KS3 and SEN.
We have created different Performance and Workshop packages to target each specific learner group. We also provide staff CPD workshops for schools and student teachers wanting to try out our ideas and techniques for themselves. For more information about content for each group, please visit our website.
