People & Planet is, for thousands of young people each year, their formative experience of active citizenship. Founded in 1969, People & Planet has over forty years experience of supporting students.

We work with 20,000 young people each year in schools, colleges and universities all over Britain. Our core activities centre on empowering and educating young people by providing skills, training and volunteering opportunities.

Interactive sessions introducing students to issues such as Fairtrade and climate change.

Our skills workshops equip students with the skills to take action on issues they care about.

They focus on practical and CV-enhancing skills such as team-building, effective communication and event planning.

Innovative ways to raise awareness, students design t-shirts, make short films and many other innovative awareness-raising activities and events.
