Everything needed for your class, year group or entire school to safely build, launch and recover model rockets is provided. One rocket per pupil is the ideal ratio for full ownership of the experience and a lasting reminder that “Science is Fun”. Team building strategies can be incorporated and as much “hard” science as desired can also be included.

Scalable

Workshops are not “one size fits all”. They can be tailored to most time, space, budget, age and ability constraints and can focus on individual curricular elements or enrichment subjects. After school clubs, fund raising events, summer activity days, and Science Week sessions are favourites. The workshops are scalable, from small clubs to world record mass launches of over 1000 rockets.

Never mind the weather

There’s no need to wait for summer – there’s a workshop to suit even when the weather is inclement or where space is limited. Computer design exercises or rocket racer cars “fly” in any weather. If you have a group that is interested in rocketry competitions, Model Rocket Shop has participated at World Championship level, and coached national winning teams and individuals.

For over ten years Model Rocket Shop has supplied model rockets kits, motors, components, workshops and expertise to hundreds of schools, colleges, universities, Scouts, youth organisations, museums, and corporate training/team building companies.
