Primary Workshops for Schools workshops are particularly suitable for Foundation stage and key stages 1 & 2. The workshops that we offer are also suitable for Special Needs Schools and are easily adapted to suit the children's abilities. Our workshops meet many requirements of the National Curriculum.

Not only are our workshops educational, fun filled and inclusive, they are very energetic and are a great experience for everyone involved (including the teachers). We employ highly skilled and motivated performers who are fully insured and CRB checked.

Did you know that your children could recreate some of the musical brilliance from the stage shows such as Stomp with our Junk Percussion Workshops?

The Junk Percussion Workshops from Primary Workshops for Schools utilise the children's skill in various different subjects such as:

Old pots, pans, Brushes and Boxes can all be recycled to form a "Junk" orchestra. The children will learn to question whether an item is "rubbish" or "reusable", pushing the limits of music and rhythm to another level.

The children will have fantastic fun, not only playing their own instruments but making them as well. They will also gain the advantage of learning to work as a team.

The Junk nature of the instruments will give the children more freedom to express themselves and will give them a greater sense of achievement as their own compositions emerge into their final performance at the end of the day.
