BLEMA DANCERS is an artistic company based in the UK. They perform and teach various kinds of African Dance Arts and Entertainment. The group was formed in the year 2007 by Victoria Dzivenu; a professional and talented African dancer who has worked with the former pan-African company ‘ADZIDO’ in the UK. The founder of BLEMA DANCERS, Victoria Dzivenu has been dancing for the past 20 years and has toured the world to perform and teach various African dance and entertainment.
WHAT WE DO.
We provide educational activities and school workshops ranging from dancing, drumming, drama, acrobatics, clay crafting, bead-making, Tie-dye making and storytelling for all levels of schools, disabled, young people, old people, organizations and all various kinds of individuals.
We have a live band and we perform folk music.
We are fun and entertaining, giving a unique touch and classic atmosphere to your school shows, fairs and all forms of activities and events. We perform on solo and group bases to suit our client’s events.
We hold workshops and classes in African dance and drumming. These workshops include:
