Primary Workshops for Schools workshops are particularly suitable for Foundation stage and key stages 1 & 2. The workshops that we offer are also suitable for Special Needs Schools and are easily adapted to suit the children's abilities. Our workshops meet many requirements of the National Curriculum.

Not only are our workshops educational, fun filled and inclusive, they are very energetic and are a great experience for everyone involved (including the teachers). We employ highly skilled and motivated performers who are fully insured and CRB checked.

Chinese Workshop

We can give your children the opportunity to appreciate and experience the most historically fascinating areas of the world. The workshops are especially suitable for covering the Chinese New Year, or your Cultural Weeks. The Workshops is:

We have introduced 3 different types of Chinese workshops that your school could choose between:

Lion Dance - have a lion dance workshop and your children will be awed by the spectacle that our highly skilled dancers will bring to your school.

The children will be shown a demonstration of the Lion Dance and then learn the basic steps using a smaller version of the lion dance costume and head.

Chinese Dance - your children will learn folk dances from this exciting and diverse area of the world, such as Fan Dance and Ribbon Dance.

Chinese Magic - your children will be amazed by the highly skilled Chinese magician, who will then help the children do either origami or calligraphy with each individual child throughout the day. (Please be aware that this is only available in certain areas).

A workshop would usually run over 6 sessions throughout the day, leading up to a performance at the end of the day, so that the children can show off what they have learnt. Sessions sizes are normally around 30 children.
