Animation Nation provides stop-motion animation workshops across the UK for primary and secondary schools, SEN, EBD, PRU, colleges, youth & community groups, school holiday activities & clubs, teacher training insets, corporate team building events and much more!
Animation workshops are a fantastic way to engage, empower, educate and inspire people of all ages and abilities and allow them to creatively express their ideas while learning many invaluable skills.
All of our workshops are completely hands on, and ensure all participants are engaged throughout. As well as making amazing animated films, the workshops promote and encourage planning, communication & organisation skills, problem solving, teamwork and build self-confidence, as well as supporting many areas of the curriculum including Art, Literacy, ICT, Music, Media, Maths & Drama.
The workshops are also a fantastic way to explore topics and themes across all curriculum subjects, making the possibilities for cross-curricular use infinite! Each workshop ends with the participant’s films being ‘premiered’ on the big screen for all to enjoy!
You will also receive a DVD & CD copy of the films and the option to have them uploaded to Animation Nation’s ‘YouTube’ Channel.
To host an animation workshop at your chosen venue all that is required is a workspace with tables. Animation Nation will provide all the equipment and materials, including Apple MacBooks, digital camcorders, lights, tripods, stop-motion/post-production software, backgrounds, storyboards and lots of modelling clay!
All our workshop leaders are professionally trained animators and have a recent Enhanced CRB certificate, and public liability insurance for £5 million.
