Tree Top Adventure’s thrilling high ropes course is set deep in the heart of Snowdonia National Park and provides an adrenaline fueled activity day for any school party. The action packed adventure involves a series of ever more challenging obstacles in an environment that is both physically and emotionally secure while still creating a dynamic environment that rouses strong emotions.
Tree Top Adventure operates a challenge by choice philosophy which ensures that while individuals are challenged and encouraged throughout the programme, no undue pressure is placed on them to undertake an activity. The course was built by RCD Construction, the European Leaders in ropes course design and construction who have built 550 facilities in 20 different countries; have trained over 4,500 instructors to manage ropes courses and who maintain an unblemished safety record with over 2 million people using their courses annually.
Managing Director Sean was born in North Wales and spent 22 years in the Royal Marines where he gained considerable managerial experience and many practical skills relating to the adventure industry. Whilst serving, he qualified as an instructor in Jungle Warfare, Military Skiing, Survival, Unarmed Combat, Helicopter Abseiling and Sky Diving before returning to Wales to start Tree Top Adventure. The Adventurer’s Course – Comprises the world’s only continuous safety system designed for use in trees which allows participants to progress from one obstacle to the next without the need to detach themselves from the safety system. The course involves a journey through the trees and incorporates over 28 different elements finishing with the revolutionary new POWERFAN™ for those bold enough to take “the 100ft plunge”.
The course is suitable for parties of 8 to 50 of any level of physical abilities if taller than 1.3m (4ft 3”). Your party will be supervised by qualified instructors throughout your visit.
