The Sound-Time Machine

Our workshops can be tailored for Primary, Secondary or 6th form collages spanning the National Curriculum statuary requirements for the Key Stage 2 Sound Module all the way through to A Level Music Technology theory.

The workshop also meets many of the requirements for the secondary Music Curriculum including composition, history of music, critical listening and appreciating live and recorded music.

For primary pupils fun craft sessions are used to teach about amplification, and fascinating science experiments show how sound travels and demonstrates how speakers work.

Older more advanced pupils can enjoy getting hands on with 4 track tape recording. Students can lose themselves in an imaginative show of costume and drama as our tutor Tom brings recording history to life.
