Shiverschool – Bring Liverpool’s Magnificent History to Life in Your School

Get scared smart in a stunningly interactive one hour performance that combines visual effects, props and a live theatre experience that demands our captive audiences do not leave disappointed, we excite, enthrall and educate.

Shiverpool’s Summer Shivers - Be prepared this August to quake in your sea boots as Shiverpool’s new family tour will shiver your timbers and may leave you trembling! For every adult brave enough to follow Long John Shiver can bring two child shipmates free. You’ll need someone to hold your hands, after all...

Location: Beginning at Suitcase Monument on Hope Street and ending at the Anglican Cathedral.

Tickets: £15 per adult, with two children free

Extra child tickets: £5


Hidden Histories - En route you will see the city’s wonderful architecture, stunning views, breathtaking locations whilst your guide regales you with carefully crafted tales from the pages and pavements of Liverpool’s incredible past.

Tours last approximately two hours and end at St Georges Hall.
Tickets: £5
This tour runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday however tours booked in advance for groups can be taken, please call for details.


The Hope Street Shivers - This tour is popular with all age groups and appeals to a broad spectrum of people. Families, group nights out, team building or a romantic scare for two this tour has something for everyone. Discover Liverpool’s most famous ghosts, grisly history and be taken on a journey that ends at the awe inspiring Gothic Anglican Cathedral.

Duration:  1 hour 15 minutes

Tickets: £15:00 adult, £10.00 child, £.40.00 family (2 adults/2 children). Groups over 15 receive 10% Discount

Start Location: Outside Philharmonic Pub, Hope St

End Location: St James Cemetery below The Anglican Cathedral


Auld City Shivers - Here you will encounter Liverpool's earliest history and hidden secrets. Your guide will lead you around Liverpool's seven original streets, "where it all began." You will also encounter some strange and sinister surprises along the way, but please remember, "We Scare Because we Care!'
