Teenage Cancer Trust offers a FREE education programme to secondary schools, colleges and universities all over the UK in a bid to remove the stigma from the subject of cancer and encourage young people to be aware of their bodies.

The sessions raise awareness of the issues surrounding cancer, both physically and emotionally by discussing:

  • what cancer actually is
  • what signs and symptoms we should be aware of
  • the treatment process
  • how it feels to be a young person diagnosed with cancer
  • what we can do to reduce the risk of developing cancer in the future.

These well-received interactive sessions are tailored for each year group and are delivered in a positive and optimistic manner.
