To provide a term time curriculum sports development programme, utilising the skills & disciplines of Rugby. We would work together in partnership with the individual school to ensure the greatest possible impact of the programme, with all children making clear progress in the activities, indicated via a qualitative matrix of scoring, assessed at 3 stages of the programme.

To achieve this, we would agree with the School that our programme would:-

• Develop children’s physical, social and behavioural skills

• Introduce children to the discipline of competitive sport and the ethos of sportsmanship

• Enhance children’s sports development, health and fitness

This is done with a combination of games and skills development delivered with the emphasis firmly on fun and enjoyment. The ratio of coaches to children is at least 1:10, thus ensuring that each child gets some personal help and coaching as the components of the session are demonstrated and delivered.

Each session has a consistent framework which comprises warm up, handling development, agility and fun games so that the children understand and benefit from the structured delivery whilst having an enjoyable and fun filled experience.

During the sessions children will learn and become familiar with the ethos and discipline of Rugby and understand that these components are an integral part of the fun and of life.
