‘Exploring Theatres’ gives students the chance to find out more about the role theatres play in their community and provides an exciting route into curriculum subjects. It helps trace the history of theatres, discover the varied styles of theatre decoration, uncover the different types of stages and auditoria, find out what makes a theatre, and introduces the people who work in a theatre.


CABOODLE ARTS

Caboodle Theatre in Education and Caboodle Arts Company were founded to provide workshops for schools in London, through the performing (drama) and creative arts, in incorporating creativity into the curriculum, providing an inclusive forum that helps every child reach their potential. Theatre WorkoutWest End Workshops from Theatre Workout™, is a specialist programme of bespoke theatre workshops for schools in London with groups visiting the West End. Our master-classes cover a wide range of theatre and performance styles including acting, dance, make-up, musical theatre, physical theatre, stage combat, Shakespeare, storytelling and much more.

West End Workshops -  We also provide workshops endorsed by, or developed in association with, the producers of shows including Chicago, Dirty Dancing, The Lion King, Sister Act & Wicked.

Workshops on The Lion King are ideal for all key stages. Based on aspects of physical theatre, these workshops use simple and effective theatre techniques to explore the themes and characters in the show through forum/image theatre, improvisation, tableaux and storytelling.


THE ACTION STATION

The Action StationEstablished in 1998, The Action Station creates parties and learning sessions where children can develop their creative and imaginative skills while having lots of fun along the way. These unique sessions combine formal teaching skills with professional drama techniques.
