We are Magic of India. We have gained high accolades for our cultural diversity workshops from many reputed London schools.
We do vibrant workshops which bring forth and celebrate the vivid stories, history, geography of India; its festivals, arts, yoga, language in a highly professional, fun, creative, interactive and engaging way. We bring a whole lot of learning aids, charts, displays, visuals, props, gifts that add immense learning value.
We won the 'Outstanding Achievement British Indian Award’ in 2015 in recognition of the contribution Magic of India has had to the UK community.
Founded in January 2013, we have grown to run after-school and weekend classes, organise festival workshops and celebration events on Diwali, Holi and more.
We are non-religious and only bring an insight into culture to the children. Schools usually do a storytelling session or a 2 to 4 hour workshop with mix of activities such as a talk on India, exploring music and dance, mythology, arts and crafts, dress up, and much more.
Some themes are:
Ticket to India
Festivals of India
Diwali Story, Dance and Art activity.

" Our learning topic closed in a fantastic way with Magic of India. Children were engaged through the whole workshop. The India information presentation was very complete. Lovely story and exciting dancing. The artwork was great and being able to have their names written in Hindi was a big bonus. 5 stars"
Laura Marin, Form Teacher, Thomson House School
"We were delighted to welcome Magic of India to Highgate. The mystical world of Hanuman was conveyed with such dynamism and creativity. The dancing, colour and energy enhanced the story reading and the children were enthralled, focused and engaged in what was happening. There is no doubt that this brought Diwali to life. I am very happy to recommend the workshops to any school exploring Hinduism."
Mark James Principal, Highgate Junior School
"The workshop was an entertaining way to deepen the children's understanding of the Diwali festival, the stories behind it and to make them aware of its wider context. The dance got everyone involved and engaged. Throughout they were all taking part and learning." recommend the workshops to any school exploring Hinduism."
