Established in 2006 from an original idea by Lorraine Logan, beadybeady enables boys and girls of all ages to make their own beautiful jewellery in schools and the community. Using a unique, fun system, jewellery is quick and easy to make and the results are professional looking, attractive with unique designs and hundreds of satisfied customers.
Sessions with beadybeady provide creative and affordable fun with an amazing variety of beads meaning there are literally thousands of combinations to fully extend your pupils’ creative and design skills.
A beadybeady workshop can be used to raise money for your school. We can organise a jewellery making session at your school which will involve no outlay from school funds. Children attending the session will simply pay for the items they make on the day (£1 and £2 per item) and we will donate 20% of all the proceeds back into schools funds. All we require from the school is a base room to host the event and where the children can come in classes or groups to have fun and be creative throughout the day (to suit your timetable commitments).
We organise everything and print up a master flyer which includes prices and a tick box. We will also handle all the administration and any monetary transactions on the day, meaning you can enjoy a trouble free day and a smooth running workshop and your pupils can concentrate on being creative and making fab funky jewellery, with specialist workshops and packages for Mother’s Day and Christmas. Alternatively, if you prefer, your pupils can make an extra 100 items of jewellery for free and these can then be sold on their own stand at your school fair or event with the proceeds going into school funds. Some schools prefer this method of fundraising as it allows pupils to learn new skills by participating in their own business project.
Beadybeady can have a stand at your school fair or PTA event where the children and adults make their own jewellery and purchase pre-made jewellery if they wish. There is no outlay For your school, and they still give a generous 20% of money taken back to school funds.
