Active Drama Company has established itself as a leading educational drama resource providing and producing a wide range of interactive educational pieces. Their innovative work in schools covers a broad spectrum of issues suitable for all key stages and encourages an active and creative participation in drama.
Active Drama works closely with key professionals like teachers, social workers, probation officers, environmentalists, health workers and others, in the production and design of projects, making their work as relevant to current issues as possible. Working under the Artistic Direction of critically acclaimed writer Brian McCann they produce high quality drama with relevant focus for their audience while introducing new ideas and techniques to make drama more relevant and accessible and can be tailored to your specific requirements.
Company strands include production, 'Issue based' interactive drama, heritage theatre, Children's theatre, youth theatre, professional training, mental health sessions, interactive Shakespeare and much more!
Active Drama’s Company on Tour can visit your school, offering pupils an opportunity to enhance any area of the curriculum through drama and theatre. Active Drama offer interactive performances giving pupils a chance to:

Active Drama also runs a daytime provision for excluded pupils or non-attendees. This work uses drama and music to build confidence, understand responsibilities and assist young people in obtaining their qualifications and return to school.

KS 1 & 2 Active Drama offers bespoke workshops looking at issues and subjects relevant to your classes at any time of the year.
