High-quality, hands-on art workshops and innovative creative projects led by professional working artists.
"From the beginning to end Artists in Schools provided a really helpful and efficient service and the workshop itself was fabulous. By holding the workshop it meant that the children could experience working with an artist and learn skills it would be difficult to teach in school ~ Flamstead Primary School ~ St Albans"
There’s no better way to develop your students’ creative work than by enabling them to work with, and be inspired by, a "real-life" professional artist.
Artists on our register include: glass artists, multimedia artists, painters, potters, ceramicists, printmakers, sculptors, mural-makers, textile artists, as well as artists offering other mediums.
Working in partnership with Artists-in-Schools will enable you to:
- enrich your schools art curriculum and reputation for creativity
- provide your students with a highly valued creative experience and fun event
- develop your ideas and realize your students creative potential
- produce a bespoke workshop plan for your project or event
- find the right artist/s for your project or event
- prepare a realistic budget for your project or event
- ‘save your time’ by us taking care of the contracts, much of the planning and paperwork
Our artists have been CRB vetted and are specially selected for their skills as professional artists and their suitability to work with students from a wide range of backgrounds from across the age range.
So whether you’re looking for a one-day workshop, a week-long project or a longer-term residency scheme or a staff INSET event, Artists in Schools will help you to develop your ideas and deliver your project, on time and to budget.
