‘The Language of Love’

A fantastic workshop which explores the different ways in which Shakespeare expresses love in his most famous tragedy. Children listen to cheesy love songs, write their own love metaphors, explore rhyming couplets and create a group poem using iambic pentameter. Invaluable in helping pupils to understand the difference between ‘real’ and ‘fake’ love!

Suitable for: Years 5,  6 and 7.   Maximum 36 children per workshop.
Half day (one workshop): £185.00  /  Full day (two workshops): £350.00

‘Who Killed Banquo?’

Pupils take part in a lively investigation into Banquo’s death, taking on the roles of Police Officers, Forensic Scientists and as characters enacting crime scene reconstructions, to discover the ‘truth’ behind Banquo’s murder. Brilliant for speaking and listening skills, encouraging consideration of the deeper issues, literacy links – and fun!

Suitable for: Years 5 and 6.  Maximum 40 children per workshop.
Half day (one workshop): £185.00  /  Full day (two workshops): £350.00

‘Finger of Fate or Someone’s Fault?’

A dynamic session that uses popular TV show formats to explore culpability and to ask who is responsible for the deaths of the star-crossed lovers. Was anyone to blame? Could the tragedy have been avoided? Were the deaths inevitable? Children examine pivotal moments and consider how different actions might have led to a different outcome.

Suitable For: Years 5,  6 and 7.   Maximum 36 children per workshop.
Half day (one workshop): £185.00  /  Full day (two workshops): £350.00

‘Introducing Shakespeare’
A speech by King Hamlet’s Ghost is brought to life and used to explore language, imagery, character and story in this great tragedy, through sound and movement exercises, improvisation, freezes, mime and mini presentations. This is a fabulous workshop for introducing children to Shakespeare, and for inspiring further literacy and drama work.

Suitable for: Years 4,  5 and 6.   Maximum 40 children per workshop.
Half day (one workshop): £185.00  /  Full day (two workshops): £350.00
